How CleanerLink works, what to expect, and how we help keep our platform safe and reliable.

1. How CleanerLink Works

CleanerLink connects customers with independent local cleaning providers.

Each provider operates as their own independent business. When a booking is accepted, a direct agreement is formed between the customer and the provider for the delivery of cleaning services.

CleanerLink facilitates bookings, payments, and support, but does not directly provide cleaning services.


2. Safety & Verification

We take steps to promote a safe and reliable platform, including:

  • Provider onboarding requirements and profile information
  • Optional document uploads such as insurance and DBS certificates
  • Customer ratings and feedback after each booking

Some providers may choose to share additional verification details. This information is provided by the provider and may not be independently verified by CleanerLink unless explicitly stated.


3. Service Expectations

To help ensure a smooth experience:

Customers are expected to:

  • Provide accurate property details and cleaning requirements
  • Ensure safe and reasonable working conditions
  • Provide clear access instructions

Providers are expected to:

  • Arrive on time
  • Communicate clearly
  • Deliver services professionally

4. Payments & Protection

All payments are handled securely through CleanerLink.

For one-off bookings, payment is authorised at booking and captured when a provider accepts.

For recurring bookings, payments are collected automatically before each visit.

CleanerLink may assist with dispute mediation and issue refunds up to the value of the booking.


5. Disputes & Support

If something goes wrong:

  • Disputes can be raised within 72 hours
  • Both parties can submit evidence
  • CleanerLink may review and make a final decision if needed

We aim to provide fair and balanced outcomes.


6. Damage & Insurance

Independent providers are responsible for the services they deliver.

If damage or loss occurs, this should be resolved directly with the provider.

Providers may carry their own insurance. Customers may wish to confirm this before booking.

CleanerLink does not provide insurance coverage for cleaning services.


7. Reviews & Accountability

After each booking, customers can leave feedback and ratings.

This helps maintain quality and allows CleanerLink to monitor provider performance.


8. Cleaner Matching

To ensure a reliable and efficient service, CleanerLink automatically matches your booking with an available local provider.

Our matching process considers several factors to find the right fit for your home, including:

  • Provider proximity to your location
  • Availability for your requested date and time
  • Historical performance and customer ratings
